Confirmed by the popular Instagram snacking sleuth @CandyHunting, Blueberry Pie Oreos are heading back to shelves. Oreo's PR partners sent the junk food account an announcement, along with a legit package of Blueberry Pie Oreos 😩.
When and where they will be sold is a total mystery. In 2016, they were available exclusively at target. In 2017, only small grocery chains in the Independent Grocers Alliance carried the flavor. @CandyHunting suspects that this time around, all major retailers will have them in stock. We hope it's true and will be holding our breath until we find out.

If last week's announcement about Oreo's new "Firework" flavor filled with popping candy left you wanting something less, um, intense, we have good news for you.
According to Instagram user Junkbanter, the Blueberry Pie Oreos that were released last summer are making a comeback this year.
"I'm about to make many of you ecstatic, and many of you furious," Junkbanter wrote. "The good news: Blueberry Pie Oreos will make their return in 2017."
So what's the bad news then? According to Junkbanter, the Blueberry Pie Oreos are only coming back to Supervalu chain stores, including Shoppers, Cub Foods, Farm Fresh, Shop 'n Save, and Hornbacher's
If you never got a taste of them the first time around, Blueberry Pie Oreos are made from two graham cracker-flavored cookies stuffed with blueberry crème. One Instagram user said they tasted like "blueberry muffins made with a mix," while Popsugar's taste testers decided that, "they're too sweet and claim that half of one cookie is all they could handle."
Thankfully we all have another chance to decide for ourselves soon. While you could just eat them like any other Oreo, you could also crumble them up and add them to a batch of white chocolate chip cookies, a bowl of ice cream or use them as a cake topper like these geniuses did last year.
If you want to get your hands on a package of Blueberry Pie Oreos, they ship the week of June 5.
