Well, McDelivery is a GO. Business Insider reports that McDonald's is offering delivery via UberEATS starting today in more than 1,000 restaurants in the original test sites in Florida, as well as Chicago, Los Angeles, Columbus, Ohio, and Phoenix. The service is already garnering rave reviews online.

Yes, you read that right. No, your eyes aren't lying to you. Crain's Chicago Business reported yesterday that McDonald's is officially partnering with Uber Technologies in efforts to bring their fast and dreamt-about food to your door. After a successful test run of golden-arched delivery with UberEATS in Florida, the brand decided that this is something too good not to share with the rest of the U.S.
While there isn't a list of cities this will be happening in yet, we do know that their plan is to start rolling out this option by end of June. So hopefully, it goes so well that soon every city will be able to order a McFlurry from the comfort of their bed. We think this is a smart move for fast food, too, because does anyone really eat in a McDonald's? Plus, McMuffins are registered hangover cures, so this makes the Sunday mornings after those Saturday nights much more bearable.
Obviously, the only major issue is: How long will McDonald's food last in the Uber to your place? No, we don't mean because of hungry drivers, but more so because ... have you seen what a Big Mac looks like if you wait more then five minutes to eat it? Woof. Regardless of that, we think this is going to be a weekend-and-munchies game-changer, and if they're looking for volunteers to test this out in new cities, we definitely volunteer.
