You already know Khloe Kardashian's pantry alone has won her the title of Most Organized Sister (her tea drawer isn't too shabby either). Kourtney Kardashian, on the other had, is known as the interior decor maven. However, she's making big moves to take over her younger sibling's title. According to a Snapchat video Khloe shared with fans last week, the two sisters are currently in a "pantry war."
The biggest difference between the two kitchen closets? The containers they keep their food in. Kourtney makes sure hers are made out of glass, which she says not only looks better, but are healthier too. She claims that she doesn't want her food sitting in plastic, since chemicals in this material could leach onto food. But Khloe thinks her labels could use some work and are an eyesore on otherwise pretty jars. (We kind of agree with Khloe on this one.)
The other major difference is a certain appliance Kourtney "doesn't believe in" and therefore doesn't own: a microwave. But don't worry, she still uses the toaster oven and keeps one plugged into an outlet in her pantry for bagels and toast. We imagine this keeps crumbs out of sight after the morning madness and before she has a chance to wipe counters clean.
Another tip from Kourtney: Make sure you sort through your food on the regular. Hey, when your pantry is as big as hers, it's easy to forget about items shoved to the back. That's why she did a pantry purge a few months ago. But it looks like the style guru has made some major changes to her pantry even since she shared this video for fans, swapping out wire shelves for built-in ones.
If we were to pick a winner between the two sisters, we'd have to go with Khloe. After all, owning a microwave is a no-brainer in our opinion. How else are you supposed to sanitize your sponge on the regular or save your stale bread? We're not ashamed to say this modern-day appliance has gotten us through more than a few last-minute dinners, too.
