Scripps Networks blessed the world on Wednesday with the most excellent news that Joanna Gaines will be leading her own HGTV show, fresh off the success of arguably the network's most popular series, Fixer Upper. Joanna, who's been sharing her Magnolia Market expertise with husband Chip since Fixer Upper premiered in 2013, will get to focus more on the design aspect of home renovation for her spinoff, titled Behind the Design, according to The Hollywood Reporter. HGTV is slated to air a preview of the new show on Tuesday March 28, followed by more episodes later this year.
Scripps also confirmed the long rumored plans to roll out five additional versions of Flip or Flop, each with a different house-flipping couple. The new spinoffs, set to film in Las Vegas, Atlanta, Fort Worth, Nashville, and Chicago, will follow the footsteps of Tarek and Christina El Moussa, who continue to film the latest season of Flip or Flop despite a very public divorce.
It's probably best to not make any plans in the coming months - or just clear out all your DVR space, because your TV watching life is about to get wild.
