Just the mere thought of a warm glazed doughnut from Krispy Kreme is enough to make our mouths water. It's an American classic! And this month, the 80-year-old company is making breakfast even sweeter with an opportunity you doughnut want to miss (sorry, we had to).
Beginning February 6, Krispy Kreme will give away a free original glazed doughnut to any customer who purchases a cup of coffee. As an attempt to entice doughnut fanatics to try their new coffee blends, the coupon-free offer is valid until February 28—as long as you order a cup of joe first, that is.
The doughnut chain has recently been working on revamping its coffee, and now offers two new blends, called "smooth" and "rich." Both made with 100 percent Arabica beans, they're designed to pair perfectly with—you guessed it—doughnuts.
"Our new smooth coffee is the only coffee designed to be the perfect complement to Krispy Kreme's freshly-made original glazed doughnuts and other treats," said Jackie Woodward, Chief Marketing Officer of Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, in a press release. "It's a combination that's deliciously inseparable, and we're proud to say that our coffee is now doughnut-worthy."
Who can resist a free doughnut? Guess it's time to break those New Year's resolutions and start getting our morning coffee fix at Krispy Kreme.
