UPDATED: February 23, 2017: Just when you were getting obsessed with Taco Bell's Naked Chicken, the chain is taking it away. According to The Orange Country Register, a spokesman for Taco Bell said the menu item will be leaving sometime in March.

The spokesman claimed the item was available the same amount of time as other limited time offers, but it seems super fast to us, especially considering all the hype around its release.

Taco Bell sure does work fast. After releasing the Naked Chicken Chalupa nationwide last week, the brand went so far as to set-up a chicken-shell chalupa speakeasy. Now the Tex-Mex chain is toying with an even crazier chalupa concept.

According to Brand Eating, TB has apparently been testing a new, fiery version at select locations. It's called the Wild Chicken Chalupa and it's the spicy sister to the original fried chicken shell that everyone's come to love. The lettuce, tomatoes, and cheddar cheese are all the same, but instead of avocado ranch sauce, you'll get something called "spicy wild sauce." No word just yet on what exactly that entails.

Unfortunately, the Wild Naked Chicken Chalupa is—so far—only available in Lawrence, KS and Kansas City, MO. But, if it's anything like it's predecessor, the wild chalupa will become so well loved by Taco Bell fans that it could roll out nationwide in no time.

What's more, the taco shop is also offering a new breakfast option that looks pretty awesome. The new Breakfast Quesadilla has made its debut on the chain's morning menu. It's essentially a bigger, grilled version of the Breakfast Soft Taco. For $1.99 you can get a bacon or sausage quesadilla, filled with egg and cheese. Or you can opt for steak, which will set you back about $2.79.
