Panera Bread has quickly become a cult-favorite since its inception in the 1980s. Combining vaguely healthy salads and soups with insanely addictive bread bowls and creative sandwiches, the restaurant rose from its humble roots in St. Louis to a famed national chain. And now the company is about to make its menu a whole lot better—by making it available for delivery.

According to a representative for the brand, Panera began a quiet test of delivery service at select locations in early 2016. Right now, 15 percent of the chain's locations offer delivery. But by the end of 2017, the company plans to roll-out delivery to 40 percent of its outposts. There's no word just yet on which locations—or areas of the country—will be so lucky, but stay tuned as we get more updated from the company directly.

This means that very soon you could get your favorite broccoli-cheddar soup dropped off right to your door. With a bread bowl and chocolate chip cookies on the side, obviously. Here's how the system will work: Place an order using the Panera App, or use the company's website to check Panera's delivery page to see if any locations near you offer the drop-off service.
