For the past few years, we've been watching Jerry Seinfeld have awkward food moments with Tina Fey and insane coffee runs with President Obama. But anyone truly close with his former costars know, there's just something about Julia.
As Elaine on Seinfeld, we watched Julia Louis-Dreyfus punch her friends adorably and dance awkwardly.
And now, as Selena Meyer on HBO's VEEP, we see her misstep and f*ck up in the most charming way. She can basically do no wrong.
But when your birthday is January 13th, and your birthday falls on a Friday, even the world's most favorite people better watch out. Case in point: While on set shooting Season 6 of her show, Julia's fellow cast members and crew surprised her with a birthday cake. It was a sweet moment, until it almost went horrible wrong—her wig almost caught fire:
In the face of such trauma, a lesser star would have stormed off, freaked out, or fired her stage manager. (We're looking at you, Mimi.) But of course this adorable comedian handled it with grace and humor. She posted a note to assure fans that "wiggy" was okay:
