Last May, it was reported that Miranda Lambert shuttered her Pink Pistol boutique in Tishomingo, Oklahoma, selling the space to her ex-husband and local resident, Blake Shelton. At the time, Blake told reporters that he had something "brewing" for the property, and now we finally know what that something is: a bar, restaurant, retail shop, and live music venue.

On Thursday, Blake announced that he is teaming up with Ryman Hospitality Properties and the Grand Ole Opry to launch two locations of his new "lifestyle brand," Ole Red, in Tishomingo and Nashville. "Ol' Red," of course, is the name of one of Blake's hit songs; the venues will be dubbed Ole Red to highlight the connection with the Grand Ole Opry.

According to Taste of Country, the Tishomingo location will be more low-key, turning the former Pink Pistol boutique space and a former dentist's office on Main Street into one complex, while the Nashville location will be a $20 million "multi-level entertainment venue" on Lower Broadway that will feature a two-story bar and restaurant, a retail area, performance space, a dance floor, a private event space, and a 6,000-square-foot rooftop. Guests can expect intimate concerts, live band karaoke, and showcases for up-and-coming talent.

In a statement, Blake said:

"It's amazing to me to see a song that's been such a big part of my career come to life in the plans for Ole Red. Nashville and Tishomingo are both places that are important to me, and it's great that each location is going to have its own personality inspired by one of my favorite songs. It's always been a dream of mine to create something like this where people know they're going to have a good time as soon as they walk in the door, and I couldn't be more excited that my friends at the Opry and Ryman Hospitality Properties are making it happen."

During the Facebook Live announcement on Thursday, Blake noted that he plans to spend time at both locations, both in person and via technology. "I don't think there is a point to it if I don't," he said.

The Tishomingo property is slated to open in October 2017, while the Nashville locale is expected to open in 2018.
