UPDATE: January 2, 2018 at 2:24 p.m.

IHOP is starting the new year off by bringing back one of the brand's most popular promotions: Allowing customers to indulge in endless stacks of fluffy, buttery pancakes all for the low, low price of just $3.99.

Like last year, the deal is only good for IHOP's famous buttermilk pancakes. Starting on January 2, guests can enjoy a stack of five buttermilk pancakes – or a combo plate featuring two pancakes with eggs, hash browns, and a choice of sausage, ham, or bacon – followed by an additional endless supply of short stacks until guests have finally had enough. According to a release, the deal is good for another six weeks, ending on February 11.

The All-You-Can-Eat Pancakes promotion is only valid at participating locations, so if you're skeptical about whether you'll find the deal at your store, you can call or check IHOP's official website.

Whenever a chain offers freebies on our favorite foods (ice cream, fries, coffee) you can bet that we are all over the delicious deals. And when the promotion includes endless bowls of pasta or plates of shrimp, there is no stopping us from diving in and taking part with full force. So now that IHOP has brought back its all-you-can-eat pancakes, there will be no stopping us from OD'ing on maple syrup.

According to a tweet from the brand, the all-you-can-eat deal began on January 2 but Brand Eating reports that it will run through February 12. That's a full six weeks of indulging in endless pancakes.

Unfortunately, you can't gorge yourself on a stack of eggnog cakes or try the decadent cupcake short stack. The deal is only good for stacks of the restaurant's classic buttermilk pancakes.

As amazing as this sounds, we'd be amiss not to point out that you can partake in never-ending flapjacks at Denny's all year for $4. To each his buttermilk-loving own.
