Chris Soules is a man of extremes: To family and friends, he's a humble farmer who grew up in a small town in Iowa, but to most of the world, he's a reality dating star who's been on both The Bachelor and The Bachelorette. Get you a man who can do both, right?

Considering all the time he's spent on the ABC show, Soules knows exactly what to do when it comes down to that first date—and exactly what to order. During a phone interview, he shared his perfect date, where to take a girl out (or in), and just how lucky he feels to be partnered with No Kid Hungry and Farmland.

He Is Not About This Classic On A First Date.

"Definitely avoid spaghetti and garlic bread ... that would just be a bad move," he said. "Trying to eat all that up without getting it all over your face would be a mess."

Naturally, Soules advises all daters to just avoid garlic completely. Might be good for taking out vampires, but the stench probably won't fly for that first kiss.

You Don't Have To Go Too Far For A Perfect First Date.

Soules notes that his ultimate first date would be on the 50-yard line of the Chicago Bears football stadium, but he likes to keep it a little more practical for the ladies (unless she's a football fan).

"I live in the country, in a town of only about 450 people, so I think a romantic spot would be on my back porch, under the stars, on a summer evening around the fire," he said.

His Grilling Skills Are Supreme.

This bachelor's hearty background as a farmer has certainly shaped his grilling abilities, which come in handy on a date.

"If I'm cooking for a date, I'll always grill up some steak or chicken—whatever she likes," Soules said. "I know how to handle a grill; grilling is kind of my thing."

He Cares About More Than Just Finding True Love.

Soules may be known for dating—and Dancing with the Stars—but he's committed to having a larger impact than being a reality TV star. He's partnered with Farmland to give back to No Kid Hungry in order to fight childhood hunger. For every Farmland product sold through Dec. 31, the company will make donation to No Kid Hungry. The Bachelor feels a personal connection to the brand because of his family.

"I have three nieces and nephews, and thinking about any kid that age not knowing where their next meal is coming from is scary to me. It shouldn't be that way," he explained. "Being able to work with these organizations has been such a good experience. You live in your own bubble and just assume that you know where your next meal will come from, but it isn't that uncommon for people to struggle—one in five children are food insecure."

Get in line, ladies—whether he's farming some crops or fighting to end childhood hunger, Soules continues to be the most eligible of Bachelors.
