Days after people flipped out over McDonald's mere suggestion of dipping French fries into its McFlurries, the brand delivers a new dessert to whip people into a frenzy: Taco Sundaes. Technically, it's called a "Pocket Sundae," according to Brand Eating, which is appropriate, because (A) it's a sundae nestled in a pocket of carbs, and (B) you'll probably want to stuff one in your pocket to eat later. (Not that it'd be weird, at all, to eat soft serve you've mashed into your jeans.)
The Pocket Sundae is essentially a folded pita—potentially dusted with cinnamon and sugar, judging by the photo—filled with vanilla soft serve and topped with hot fudge and hazelnuts. The combination reminds us of a Choco Taco—or an ice cream-filled crepe.
Before you head to your nearest golden arches, there's a catch: It's sold in Italy, so any readers in the U.S. will have to either book a flight or launch a petition to bring it stateside.
If you don't live in Italy, we've got you—you can always make your own dessert tacos using any of these 31 recipes.
