Hello Kitty is constantly an object of affection for foodies. The beloved character has been turned into adorable desserts, cute and healthy airline meals, and even a fruity beer. But now is apparently her time to shine as a pink wine.

According to the Los Angeles Times, the character's creators, Sanrio, have partnered with Italian winery, Torti, to produce a new line of Hello Kitty wine.

The leader of the pack is a blush sparkling wine that's described as "sweet pink" and made from chardonnay and pinot nero grapes, giving it light floral fragrances and a smooth, fruity flavor. But there's also a white sparkling variety made from pinot noir grapes, plus still white and rosé wines as well.

"We produce a special bottle with a heart, only for Hello Kitty," a representative from Torti told the newspaper. But, lucky for Hello Kitty fanatics, this won't be a limited-edition offering; the company intends to continue production for the foreseeable future and expand distribution well beyond its current Southern California radius (right now you can only grab a glass at Antonello restaurant in Santa Ana).
