Bagged salads can be great when you're in a pinch and don't have time to prepare all those veggies yourself. But they can also be sad and limp, or worst of all, susceptible to listeria and other illnesses. And for at least the fourth time this year, Fresh Express bagged salads are getting recalled—this time for undeclared allergens.

Food Safety News reports that the Chiquita International brand has recalled 480 cases of the American Salad from six states because Caesar salad dressing packets—which contain egg, milk, wheat, and anchovy—were mistakenly added to the bags.

Fresh Express distributed the recalled salads to retailers in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee. The salads have an Oct. 5 use-by date, so food safety officials are urging customers to check their fridges as soon as possible. So far, no illnesses have been reported and no other Fresh Express products have been affected.
