An Indianapolis pizza shop is offering up a tasty reward for people willing to hand over their guns: an extra-large pie–for free.

Donald Dancy, the owner of D & C Pizza, told Fox59 he came up with the plan after being frustrated with persistent crime in the area. "When you pass here right off of 36th and go all the way down to 25th street and over, it is like a war zone. It is not getting any better," Dancy told the outlet. "I can see kids 14 through 18 coming in here and buying a pizza and their guns fall out."

Though it's much pricier to buy a gun than pizza, Dancy believes customers carrying illegal weapons might be willing to make the trade because, well, pizza. He intends to keep the guns in a safe place until he can hand them over to the police. According to the report, D&C can't begin collecting guns until Dancy gets approval from the local sheriff's department.
