A few days ago, Chris Pratt—who played one of our favorite Parks and Recreation characters, Andy Dwyer—decided to make breakfast for his son, Jack. And, very much like Andy, he decided to put a playful spin on plain old pancakes.
Except, also like Andy, he totally failed. And even his soon-to-be-4-year-old agrees. Here's there conversation from a recent video post on Instagram:
"Jack, what do you think of your Donald Duck pancake?"
"It doesn't look like Donald Duck..." Jack immediately claps back. " Daddy, look at it."
"What do you mean? It looks exactly like Donald Duck."
"No! He doesn't have a tail," Jack replies.
Very valid argument, Jack; though we wouldn't point that out as the major issue here. The entire blob is completely unrecognizable—save for the two strawberry "eyes."
Pratt gave the video a sassy caption, claiming he "made a Donald Duck pancake that was basically a perfect photo copy of the picture he saw online" but that "his son Jack refused to see the resemblance, probably out of spite or a deep seeded jealousy of his father's pancake skills."
Um, sure, okay.
