Love Whole Foods, but hate that it really earns the nickname of Whole Paycheck? There's finally a cheaper alternative. The first 365 by Whole Foods Market opened its doors Wednesday in the Silver Lake neighborhood of Los Angeles. People lined up outside the store before it even opened, tote bags prepped.

Of course, every shopper Instagrammed their experience like crazy:

The inside looks like a typical grocery store, but with bright, vibrant colors and a more fun-loving design than your typical Whole Foods:

365 doesn't have the typical deli, bakery, or hot foods area of a standard Whole Foods, but rather has lots of smaller cases with sliding glass doors that showcase what you'd typically find at those departments.

You can also order hot food, made especially for you, via kiosks in the store, and then pick it up later:

The store features an automated tea station that customizes your blend for you:

And people are loving the prices on fresh produce:

According to Money, the stores are smaller with less variety and fewer employees, plus there's a preset layout for each location. They also offer a rewards program through their app that will give you rewards the more you shop. So overall, it's like Whole Foods had a baby with Trader Joe's, and it was something tasty you could actually afford—but with a gigantic line. Next, the chain is planning locations in Bellevue, Washington and Portland, OR later this year.
