After Beyoncé's new album Lemonade dropped last night, the internet went wild. The hottest topic, of course, is who exactly Queen B's song "Sorry" is about. Most believe the track not only confirms that Jay-Z cheated on Bey, but that Rachel Roy is the other woman in question. (FYI: It's long been rumored that Roy caused the elevator debacle with Solange, but she also made the mistake of posting a photo with a caption that appear to reference a line or two of "Sorry" lyrics.) And so the Beyhive has unleashed its terror on her.
Trouble is, Beyoncé fans are confusing the fashion designer with a very well known celeb chef and EVOO fanatic, Rachael Ray. Which gives us a few laughs, considering it's "Rachel" versus "Rachael" and "Roy" versus "Ray." But nonetheless, the Beyhive has ferociously commented lemon and bee emojis on the Food Network star's Instagram posts.
Fans believe Roy is the "Becky with the good hair" mentioned in the song "Apathy"
And while online harassment itself isn't funny, mistaking two completely different people for one another is something out of a slapstick comedy. Especially when one of them is as popular as the raspy voiced TV personality.
