John Oliver's show Last Week Tonight was off this week for Easter, so instead he took to YouTube to air a very important segment on beloved holiday treat Cadbury Creme Eggs.
Oliver's conspiracy theory explores the popularity of the filled chocolates which he says, are, "a terrible candy that tastes like mermaid placenta covered in candle wax," which is accurate.
As with any good conspiracy theory, he stitches together seemingly unrelated facts about the candy. And somehow it all leads back to Beyonce and the illuminati. You'll never look at your Easter basket the same.
