A McDonald's parking lot isn't the first place that comes to mind when you think of witnessing a miracle. Unless you miraculously come across an extra order of fries in your bag. But earlier this month, a McDonald's parking lot in Wisconsin was the setting for just that.
Analysia Beck, a Muskego, Wisconsin, mother of three, told USA Today the amazing story of how she gave birth in a McDonald's parking lot during a snowstorm. She also shared the adorable nickname her son was given after being born in such a unique place.
On a snowy January 12, Beck recalled feeling painful contractions and pressure to push after her water broke in her sleep. She revealed that the pain was so intense that she thought "something was wrong."
In those early hours, Beck and her husband decided to set out for the hospital. During the ride, Beck felt as if she was sitting on the baby's head, and so the couple was forced to pull into a McDonald's parking lot.
"I did feel like the weather would make the drive longer and more dangerous, but I thought we’d still make it to the hospital quickly at first," said Beck. "The baby was coming so fast and my body couldn’t wait any longer to push."
While in the parking lot, they called for an ambulance. And with just three pushes, little Micah Beck was born in the backseat of the car. And after being born in a snow-filled McDonald's parking lot, Micah was given the best nickname ever by his mother: Little McFlurry.
The paramedics arrived shortly after Beck gave birth, and little Micah received yet another epic McDonald's-themed nickname from an EMT: Baby McNugget.
Anyone else wondering what nicknames baby Micah would have been blessed with if he were born in the parking lot of another fast food restaurant? Maybe Little Frosty?
