As a life-long lover of the Reese's Easter peanut butter egg, I was more than overjoyed when the company decided to introduce seasonal shapes around every holiday. I wasn't mad when the Reese's holiday trees didn't look like trees, or even when the Reese's Valentine's day hearts were criticized for their shape, too. But then I saw these new, limited edition yellow Easter eggs and that's where I began to question things.

'What does a yellow Reese's egg look like?' I thought. Well, here you go:

It's not so much the color of the candy—though I'm not quite sure what Reese's was trying to do here with that—as much as the shape. This thing does not, by any means, resemble an egg. It doesn't even look like an egg yolk, even if it is dyed yellow. Here's a closer look:

It honestly looks a little bit more like a, you know, penis. At least that's what we're seeing over here—you can decide for yourself.

Following the previous incidents, which involved uproar from fans on Twitter, Reese's responded with a cheeky tweets like this one:

But at what point will the famous peanut butter cup brand own up to the mysteriously misshapen candy they've been producing over the past few months? Is this laziness? Is this all a joke? Will we ever know? And really, who shot J.R.?
