It's hard out there for a prepackaged treat. Store shelves are packed with options, people's newsfeeds are crammed with videos showing you just how easy it is to make your very own off-the-wall snacks, and everyone from Oreo to Hostess is churning out new flavors of treats to get your attention (and hard-earned dollar).

M&M is no stranger to the limited-edition game, having released Pumpkin Spice Latte, Cafe Mocha and Hot Chocolate-flavored M&Ms in the past few months alone. They've been taking things one step further, though, releasing two flavors at a time: One exclusive to Target, the other exclusive to Walmart, and springtime—or rather, those bleak, frigid months leading up to spring—is no exception.

First, the treat you can only find at Target: Strawberry Shortcake White Chocolate M&Ms, which come in pink, white and creme and coat your mouth with a "light, Starburst-like Strawberry sweetness," according to reviewers at The Impulsive Buy. While this is technically an Easter-themed treat, it's available now, so nothing's holding you back from proclaiming your undying affection for someone over a bag of Strawberry Shortcake chocolate-coated candies.

While searching for information on the new flavor, we stumbled upon eBay listings for another limited-edition treat: Strawberry Chocolate M&Ms. Not to be confused with Chocolate-Covered Strawberry, naturally. This candy comes in shades of red and pink, much like its classic Valentine's Day mix, and a Walmart spokesperson confirmed that it's exclusive to the brand.

Some people are betting hard that these treats will be tricky to find—or that people will be too lazy to head to their nearest big-box store: Individual bags of both flavors, which typically retail for $2.88-$3.19, are being sold on eBay for $5.95 apiece. You can pick up a three-pack for $17.

Tracking down and reselling limited-edition candy might be an interesting side business, since that whole retiring-off-my-Beanie-Baby-collection thing didn't work out for most (or any) of us.
