McDonald's fans were met with a bit of disappointment this month—and no, we're not talking about long morning drive-thru lines. This time around, their dismay has to do with a viral TikTok that spilled the chain's biggest breakfast secrets.

A video uploaded by user @blexican_shay83 last week revealed that many of McDonald's breakfast items are pre-made.

Turns out, the folded eggs come premade made, and so do the pancakes, she explained in the TikTok. "They don't do nothing but warm 'em up. Burrito mix already comes pre-made," she said.

As the McDonald's website says, their scrambled eggs are made with liquid eggs and cooked fresh on the griddle with butter.

Many customers sounded off in the comments of @blexican_shay83's TikTok, expressing their shock and a handful of other concerns.

"Why tf they take so long in the line the food already made," one user pointed out.

A number of people recalled a time when they worked at McDonald's and the fast food restaurant still used freshly cooked eggs.

"Dang when I worked there (20 years ago ) it was actual eggs made and folded there. And the round eggs. So sad," said one person.

"Damn things has changed since I use to work at McDonald’s… we used to make all those eggs. But everything else was pre made like pancakes burrito mix," another user pointed out.

And on the contrary, there were those who questioned why anyone would believe that a fast food restaurant makes all of its breakfast items fresh.

"Did you expect to see someone's grandma in back, making everything from scratch? It's Macdonalds," read one comment.

Is this a McDonald's secret you could have done without knowing?
