Cake and Drake were basically made for each other. Their names rhyme and the internet is obsessed with both of them. Drake is a not so secret foodie with a burgeoning restaurant and a love of everything sweet and sappy. Plus, the birthday dessert is a perfect vehicle for all things celebrity—just look at this Taylor Swift rendition. It was really only a matter of time before a collaboration happened: And thus, the Instagram account Drake on Cake was born.
Developed as a passion project by none other than Joy the Baker, this account has everything. And by everything, we mean cakes on cakes on cakes, all decorated with your favorite Drake lyrics.
Lines like, "Last name ever, first name greatest", "I'm just saying, you could do better," and, "My only wish is I die real," make these cakes great for any occasion. Whether it be a graduation celebration, engagement announcement, or a funeral party.
OK so maybe it's not a great idea to bring one of these pups to a wake. But any Drake fans in your friend group will certainly appreciate the solid reference.
And if cake isn't your thing and you're sorta iffy on Drake, at least remember the important things he's taught us all: You only live once.
