Chocolate and vanilla soft-serve Frostys are a cult classic among fast-food goers—and for good reason. They're a great dessert on their own, but they can also be doctored up with french fries, marshmallows, and even a little Kahlua. And now Wendy's is offering them on the house for those with a special Frosty Key.

In what might be a better promotion than Olive Garden's famous Pasta Pass, the burger chain's latest Frosty Key Tag offer gets you free Frostys all year long in 2016. And the VIP pass only costs $1. Yep, you read that right—it's just a dollar for a year's worth of free Frostys. And now we know what we're getting all of our friends and family for Christmas.

What's more, the company will be donating 90 cents of each Frosty Key Tag purchase to go toward the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption, which is a national nonprofit public charity dedicated to finding permanent homes for more than 130,000 children in foster care systems throughout North America. That basically makes this dollar deal a bonus for everyone.

To score free Frostys in 2016, you must purchase the Key Tag before December 31, 2015. To redeem the complimentary desserts in the new year, you must make a purchase—but it could be anything from an order of $1 value fries to a crispy chicken sandwich meal. It's hard to complain about this small caveat when the promotion benefits charity. Plus, you know you want some fries to dip in your chocolatey Frosty anyway.
