Bagels and cream cheese are like, the peanut butter and jelly of breakfast, but the perfect on-the-go meal does have a few slight portability issues. I mean, you have to make the time to spread the cream cheese (which you can't exactly do while driving, or something), plus there's the whole eating while walking/driving and getting cream cheese all over your hands thing. Not cute. But the portable breakfast is about to get a whole lot better (and more cream cheesier), because Starbucks is selling Bantam Bagels' cream cheese-stuffed bagel balls.
Stuffed bagel balls aren't exactly a new phenomenon—Bantam Bagels in New York (you may have heard of them from the reality show, Shark Tank), has been selling them since they opened up in 2013, but the rest of the country was seriously missing out. And no one should be deprived of stuffed bagels. So Starbucks partnered with the shop to spread the wealth and bring the creamy bombs to the masses. Currently, the bagels have been released in New York, Philadelphia, and Indiana, though they're expected to increase to 7,000 stores nationwide.
The bagels are offered in three flavors: Classic (filled with cream cheese), Everybody's Favorite (an everything bagel with veggie cream cheese), and French Toast (buttery maple cream cheese). But TBH, now that Starbucks is involved, it's only a matter of time before we get a PSL-stuffed bagel.
