Kit Kats are an awesome candy (seriously, just ask the Japanese). Not only are they full of chocolatey goodness, but they're also super versatile. They can be stuffed in croissants, covered in gold, and now made into a gingerbread house. YouTube food blogger, MyCupcakeAddiction, has gone above and beyond and turned everyone's favorite candy into everyone's favorite holiday home.
Sure, there's not actually any gingerbread involved in this adorable creation, but we're not complaining. Made entirely of chocolate, all you need to create a little candy abode of your own is four Hershey's Milk Chocolate bars, four Cookies and Cream Kit Kat bars, one family-size Kit Kat bar, some melted milk chocolate, a couple candy canes, holiday-themed sprinkles, a ziplock bag, a sharp-knife, two cookie cutters, and a cup of boiling water.
The family-size Kit Kat is used as the base for the house because the lines provide the perfect foundation. After cutting out spaces for the doors and windows, melted milk chocolate is used to attach the milk chocolate bars to the Kit Kat base. Next, the candy canes and sprinkles are used to decorate the outside of the house. The last step is placing the Cookies and Cream Kit Kats on the top, using melted milk chocolate as glue once again, to build the roof.
If you're feeling extra festive, shredded coconut can be sprinkled around the outside of the house to mimic freshly-fallen snow. And that's it—you now have an entirely chocolate non-gingerbread Candy Christmas house fit to bring lots of holiday cheer and a major sugar high.
