The holidays are great and all, but traveling this time of year is probably one of the most torturous experiences possible. The days leading up to Thanksgiving are some of the worst travel days of the year—so many people are trying to get home to their family and friends and flights are being delayed left and right. Sometimes the one thing you really need is a good drink. Fortunately, the masterminds over at Gray Malin had a genius idea to make your flight a little more bearable. The Sprinkle Carry On Cocktail Kit is here to give your traveling experience a little color and pop.
This new product was launched just a few weeks ago and is only available on their website for only $24. Each adorable kit comes with the following goodies: an instruction card, a packet of rainbow sprinkles, craft tonic syrup, a 1.2 oz jigger, a bar spoon, a linen napkin, a striped straw, and a flamingo stirrer. Alcohol is not included; you'll have to ask your flight attendant for that.
Because everyone's brains are fried by the time the holidays come around, Gray Malin went ahead and made a step-by-step guide to how to give your cocktail a little pizzazz. All you have to do is order your own Sprinkle Carry On Cocktail from their website, read the "Beach Sprinkles Vodka Tonic" to decide what to order from your flight attendant, and then get started decorating your drink.
The process is super simple: start by running a lime or lemon wedge around the rim of your glass so that sprinkles have something to stick to. Next, use your kit as a tray and pour out the sprinkles packet. Dip the rim of your cup, which has been coated in lime or lemon juice, into the sprinkles until it's fully coated.
Now comes the fun part. Add the craft tonic syrup with the metal jigger, along with any other ingredients you would like, and stir with the metal bar spoon. Lastly, add the adorable flamingo stirrer and cocktail straw and you're done! Your cocktail is officially the cutest drink you've ever seen.
The best part about this is that everything you need (besides the booze) is included in the kit. When your flight is inevitably delayed and you're stuck between a crying baby and someone who hasn't showered in a few days, you'll be glad you have a drink and you'll be even happier it's covered in adorable rainbow sprinkles.
