It's the biggest drinks news of the summer: Dunkin' just announced that they're releasing a new line of spiked coffee and tea.
Called Dunkin' Spiked, the collection of canned adult drinks was confirmed last week by VinePair following chatter on social media. According to VinePair, Dunkin’ Spiked was spotted on the list of label approvals on the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau database.
You'll be able to choose from four different coffee flavors (all with a 6% ABV): Original Iced Coffee, Caramel Iced Coffee, Mocha Iced Coffee, and Vanilla Iced Coffee. And for the tea crowd, there's Slightly Sweet Iced Tea, Half & Half Iced Tea, Strawberry Dragonfruit Iced Tea Refresher, and Mango Pineapple Iced Tea Refresher. With a 5% ABV, the spiked iced teas are a little less boozy.
Interestingly enough, people on social media people have going through a range of emotions over the Dunkin' Spiked news. There's excitement, curiosity, and a little bit of fear sprinkled in.
"Dunkin is releasing spiked iced coffee. I will never be the same," one user tweeted.
"Dunkin’ spiked is the last thing we needed right now," another person chimed in.
There's also no shortage of hilarious memes about it.
The spiked beverages are hitting stores later this month, and they'll only be available in select states until 2024.
