There are few things more frustrating than trying to eat some fries while driving your car. After leaving the drive-thru, you're tasked with blindly searching around a paper bag to grab a couple of fries. And let's not even talk about the danger of braking too hard and spilling the entire order of fries on your dash.
Well, what if we told you there's a simple hack that'll have you snacking on your fries with ease?
TikTok user @tommywinkler recently shared a video of a fry hack that some commenters have called "pure genius." In the video, we see him ordering a large fry at a McDonald's drive-thru and requesting that it be placed in a big cup instead of a normal fry box.
And just like that, he's handed a towering cup of fries that can be snugly placed right into his cupholder. Let's just say that people are excited to say the least.
"By God, we’ve been eating fries the wrong way all along," wrote one person in the comments.
Another TikToker recalled a time when a customer used a similar method, but on a much larger scale.
"I'm a manager at McDonald's and I have a customer that gets 3 large fries in a happy meal box," they wrote.
Although the TikTok showed the hack being used at McDonald's, you can of course do it at any fast food spot. In fact, another commenter says there was a time when Wendy's tested a cup option for its fries.
"When I worked at Wendy’s they tried replacing cartons with cups. Idk why they stopped cause we tested it and liked it," the user revealed.
And if you often find yourself eating nuggets in the car, there's also this nifty gadget to hold your sauce cup.
