Oh, Martha. Once again, the lifestyle maven has rubbed fans the wrong way. This time around, her snafu involved rare truffles instead of remote work policies.

In a classic case of "easier said than done," she shared an image of a gorgeous Australian black truffle and casually encouraged fans to "try it."

"Thank you Raymond Mizrahi for introducing me to @blackdiamondcaviar black truffles from Australia. Yesterdays truffle was pure, fresh, fragrant and so so black and the tastiest truffle I have ever eaten i served it sliced thinly and then chopped , warmed in clarified butter and tossed with Italian made spaghettini and sea salt. Try it!!" she wrote in the caption.

If the truffle Martha was referring to in her Instagram post is Black Diamond Caviar's Black Perigord Truffle, then a 4 oz. portion would cost you a mind-blowing $250. The truffle is currently listed as out of stock, so you don't have to take out that loan just yet.

Given the high cost of truffles in general, a number of Martha's fans found her "try it" comment to be quite hilarious and just a tad off-putting.

"Martha casually telling us to try Australian black truffle like we plebs have access to it," said one user.

"Martha I love you girl but I would need another stimulus check," another person commented.

"Martha Antoinette!" another posted.

One commenter posed this hilarious question: "Do they sell them at Walmart Martha?"

Highly unlikely.
