Just when we thought we had all of Dairy Queen's thick-spun Blizzards taste-tested and ranked, the ice-cream chain announced last fall that it was dropping an insane new flavor for the holiday season. And we can't wait to get our mittens around one.
A brilliant blend of peppermint and chocolatey cookies and cream, last year's Candy Cane Oreo Blizzard has returned to Dairy Queen locations across the country this month. That's right, the taste of wintertime has landed weeks before Thanksgiving. And it'll stick around through December, too.
So while you're waiting for the new holiday cups to arrive at Starbucks, you can dip a spoon into one of these extra thick, creamy-crunchy shakes loaded with bits of the red-and-white striped candy. The best part: In addition to the standard cup, you can order this swirled treat in a waffle cone.
