Worst Pickup Lines As Overheard By Bartenders

In a new video series created by Playboy's Nightlife section called Indulgence, some of the country's top bartenders are asked to reveal their tips and tricks, confess guilty pleasures and other secrets, and rant about their pet-peeves.

In one of its most hilarious clips, bartenders from the nation's best watering holes were asked about the worst pickup lines they've ever heard. Unsurprisingly, the responses ranged from the gag-worthy to laugh-out-loud funny to the downright insulting.

"Hi, my name is Gil."

"Did you spray yourself with Windex? Because I can see myself in your pants."

"This guy put his finger in a glass, touched his shirt and then her shirt and said, 'Let's get out of these wet clothes.'"

Oddly enough, a couple of barkeeps admitted to watching a slow decline in face-to-face interactions, blaming social media and hook-up apps for the demise of old-fashioned bar culture. "You don't hear that many anymore. Because of Tinder, they've already exchanged their terrible pick-up lines." Apparently the lines just aren't as creative nowadays. Nonetheless, we don't recommend firing off any of these bombs.
