If you've ever attended a wedding reception, you've likely been asked this familiar question: "Beef, chicken, or fish?" And how many times have you instead longingly hoped for crispy McNuggets or a burger instead? Well, you might soon be in luck.
According to an Instagram post from McDonald's Indonesia, the restaurant is now offering a wedding catering package that includes a crowd-pleasing 100 chicken burgers and 100 4-packs of McNuggets. The cost for the entire package costs 3.5 million Indonesian rupiahs, which is equal to about $233.
Unfortunately, this is yet another McDonald's specialty that hasn't arrived in the States...yet. There could be a chance, though, given that McDonald's newest dessert, the Cookies & Créme Pie, was available for quite some time internationally before it made its way stateside.
Regardless, plenty of people on social media have their fingers crossed that McDonald's will bring the catering package to the U.S.
TikToker Dylan Page was one of the first to share news of the package, and the post's comments are filled with people who'd love to purchase one for their own wedding or any event for that matter.
"I might just order that for a party… or myself?" one commenter wrote.
"It's not bad price and people have chicken nuggets at weddings anyway but they taste bad so why not get McDonald's ones," another person added.
"I need to hurry up and get married," said one forward-thinking user.
One person suggested that it could be a great late night wedding snack, writing, "This is awesome for a midnight meal. it is fun and easy and loved by most."
There were some doubters, though, including one person who thought it'd be better off as a catering package for a kid's party.
"Sounds like a good kids birthday party package. the kids would love it," they wrote.
On the plus side, this does serve as motivation for that dream wedding in Bali.
