Loud popcorn munchers and candy-wrapper wrestlers are to be expected at the movie theater, but it's always those who won't stop talking that are the most annoying. For one man in Florida, asking fellow moviegoers to hush up got him into a fight.

During a Sunday night showing of Green Inferno on October 3 at AMC Theaters in Vero Beach, FL, Michael Denninger and his wife became annoyed when the couple sitting in front of them started talking during the film. According to the police report, Denninger asked the chatty duo to stop talking and allegedly cursed at them. This promoted the accused man, later identified as 44-year-old James Wortman, to stand up, turn around, and whip his large-size soda at Denninger.

After Denninger threatened to call the police, Wortman and his girlfriend Jennifer Yancy followed Denninger to the parking lot. There, Wortman took off his shirt and aggressively approached Denninger as if he wanted to start a fight. Instead, he and Yancy took off in his car. That is, until the police pulled him over and he tried to lie, saying he had tripped because he had been wearing flip flops. But after confronting Yancy, the cops connected the dots. Wortman was arrested and brought to the Indian River County Jail, but was released on a $500 bond on Monday morning. He is, however, due in court on October 27 for the misdemeanor count.

Moral of the story: Don't be the dude that talks through the movie, but also don't be the one to call someone else out on it. Just sit down, shut up, and watch the flick.
