Leave it to Walmart to make the weekly chore of food shopping faster, cheaper and a whole lot simpler.
The superstore just announced in a blog post that they will be launching a FREE grocery pickup service starting this October.
That's right, folks. After thoroughly testing the idea, the superstore is now letting consumers shop for their groceries online, select a time for pickup, and have an associate load them into their car. (Talk about a game changer!)
Starting on October 13th, the first cities to start the new pickup service will include Atlanta, Georgia; Charlotte and Fayetteville, North Carolina; Salt Lake City and Ogden, Utah; Nashville, Tennessee; Tucson, Arizona and Colorado Springs, Colorado. Walmart plans on adding more markets to their list of pickup locations in the following weeks to come.
The new shopping experience will be beneficial to anyone with a busy schedule. You won't even have to unbuckle your seatbelt to pick up your week's produce.
