UPDATE: Tuesday, Jan. 19 at 8:00 a.m.
Drive, bike or Prancercize your way to the nearest grocery store, Walmart or Target, because Oreo has confirmed that Cinnamon Bun Oreos are hitting stores now (some started stocking them on shelves as of Monday, Jan. 18.).
While you're there, you may find another surprising addition to store shelves: Red Velvet Oreos are baaaack! Originally released as a limited-edition treat for Valentine's Day last year, the Solo cup-red sandwich cookies are returning—and not just for the holiday. They're being offered on an ongoing basis, which means you can finally stop limiting yourself to one bite per day of that year-old stash you've been hoarding in your closet.
Oreo will also be releasing a third flavor—an entirely new one that hasn't leaked anywhere (that we know of). The only hint the brand's dropping is that it's "a flavor unlike anything we've done before." Considering they've dabbled in fruit punch, cotton candy and candy corn, it's anyone's call what the next one will be.
UPDATE: Wednesday, Sept. 30 at 12:43 p.m.
Sources say you'll be able to find Cinnamon Bun-flavored Oreos at Walmart, but you'll have to wait a while to get your hands on them—they likely won't hit store shelves until January.
Mark your calendars, people, and keep an eye on the cookie aisle—products have been known to get stocked in some stores earlier than others (as the news of this flavor's existence proved). We'll keep you posted as we learn about other places carrying the treat.

Oreo has already proven that the humble sandwich cookie can be a stand-in for s'mores, red velvet cake and brownie batter. It's taken on seasonal favorites, with its own spin on pumpkin spice, key lime pie and even watermelon.
Now, it's after your breakfast. And we're not talking about the revival of Oreo O's.
Unless an anonymous tipster at The Impulsive Buy is playing with our fragile, cookie-loving hearts, the next new flavor will be...Cinnamon Bun Oreos.
I KNOW. Sit down, put your head between your knees and start fanning yourself. These cinnamon-spiced cookies sandwich a cinnamon bun-flavored creme, and rumor has it they'll be hitting stores next month. One Instagrammer has already spotted it on store shelves, though we haven't heard where the blessed cookies have been found:
It may be tempting to call in sick to work and blow off your plans with everyone indefinitely until you hunt down a box of these treats, but resist the urge. We'll keep you posted as we learn more—specifically where and when you can find these, and hopefully, how close they come to a divine mashup of Oreo and the gooey, melty wonder that is a cinnamon roll.
No store executives have officially confirmed that they'll be carrying this new flavor, but Target and Walmart seem to be the first to get the limited editions. In the meantime, you could try putting cinnamon-roll frosting on an Oreo. Or crumbling Oreos into your cinnamon buns before rolling them up and baking them. That might—might—get you through until those cookies are in your hands.
