Dabbing the grease off of your pizza slice is a pretty controversial move, kind of like folding your pizza. Don't get us wrong; everyone is entitled to their own pizza-eating habits. But it seems like those who dab their oil are always judged, shunned or subject to major side eye. Until now, that is.

This new chart is forcing all pizza lovers to reevaluate their pizza-eating methods. A study by LabDoor magazine found that a slice of "dabbed pizza" has 40.5 fewer calories than a regular slice. Given that the average American eats 23 pounds of pizza per year, dabbing  the oil off each slice you eat can lead to an estimated 2-pound weight loss. It's not a whopping number, but it shows that even micro-changes can have an impact on your diet.

You should note that this data is based on a 14-inch pepperoni pizza from Domino's, so the results may vary if you're more of a Papa John's, Pizza Hut or homemade, ranch-with-white-cheddar person.
