Simply because Mondays totally suck (and everyone loves bagels), the folks behind Einstein Bros Bagels are hawking a baker's dozen for just $6. Every. single. week. The carb-filled deal is part of a pay-it-forward campaign that the brand is tagging as #RandomActsOfMonday.
The six-buck bargain includes your choice of 13 bagels (normally $14.99 with shmear, $10.99 without) from the 18 regular bagels flavors, which range from plain and nine-grain to garlic and pumpernickel to pumpkin and cinnamon sugar. There's even a pretzel bagel, which will probably make you everyone's favorite person at the office. To score breaded rings that are cheaper by the dozen, head to your local Einstein Bros. Unfortunately, locations at universities, hotels, and airports are not participating.
And there's another slight catch: Shmear (a.k.a. double-whipped cream cheese) will set you back about $4 for two containers, but comes in flavors like onion and chive, smoked salmon, blueberry, garlic and herb, honey almond, and jalapeño salsa. And if you're one to splurge on the gourmet-topped bagels—such as jalapeño-cheddar, spinach Florentine, and pumpkin-walnut—you'll be disappointed to know that they're not entirely part of the offer. You'll have to pay extra ($.60 each) for 'em. But can really you put a price on Monday morning happiness?
