Shake Shack has one of the most iconic burgers in the country, arguably rivaled solely by the West Coast bastion, In-N-Out. Run by restaurant mogul Danny Meyer, the fast-food chain recently ventured into crispy chicken sandwiches and has utterly dominated that scene as well.

Now the shack is rolling out a throwback burger that honors old-timey roadside hamburger stands. The Roadside Shack ($6.19 for a single, $8.99 for a double) is an Angus beef cheeseburger that's first griddled on the flat-top, then layered with caramelized onions that have been simmered in beer and  bacon.

The new patty will be available at all locations in the U.S., excluding stadiums, for a limited (and unspecified amount of) time. We suggest hitting up the location nearest you as soon as possible: Shack Shack is known for offering killer specialties and then quickly taking them off the menu to make room for more madcap creations.
