We never thought we'd see the day when Fido became a foodie, but it appears that our four-legged friends can now add fine-dining to the growing list of pooch-friendly indulgences.

This week, The Guardian offered readers a glimpse at Dogue, a San Francisco restaurant that caters to dogs. And if you expect to find kibble or jerky on the menu, think again. In fact, a multi-course “bone appetite” meal at Dogue will set you back about $75.

So, what exactly is on the menu at Dogue? An Instagram page for the restaurant showcases an assortment of colorful and perfectly plated meals, including a stunning green-lipped mussels, fermented carrot, and wheat grass dish. Equally remarkable is the organic beef chuck steak with fermented carrot and beet root.

In addition to sharing photos of the dishes, the folks at Dogue offer a miniature deep-dive into what makes each ingredient beneficial to dogs.

"Beef is a quality source of protein that helps your dog build muscle. The fat in beef can help your pup feel full, and the vitamins and minerals help keep your pup's coat and skin healthy," an Instagram caption for the beef chuck steak reads.

While speaking with The Guardian, Dogue owner and fine dining chef Rahmi Massarweh offered some insight on what goes into preparing the restaurant's menu.

"When we make our food, it is a process. It is very time-consuming. There is a lot of technique. There's a lot of method and detail to what we do," said Massarweh. "Our pastries, for example, take about two days on average to make. I know they're going to be eaten in two seconds."

Fellow humans, no need to feel left out. Dogue does offer baked goods and mimosas for us.
