Back in 2020, jaws dropped when actor Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson shared a video of his epic four-inch-thick French toast. The dish was concocted by The Rock and his personal chef, Chef Rocky, for a cheat-day meal.
The already massive French toast was then topped with peanut butter, whipped cream, and maple syrup. To make matters even more decadent, the whipped cream and maple syrup were both infused with The Rock's Teremana tequila.
Now, over two years later, The Rock and Chef Rocky, along with Goldbelly, are giving sweet breakfast fans the chance to enjoy the famed French toast, courtesy of Los Angeles' Brique French Toastery.
The Goldbelly version of The Rock's favorite French toast includes 5-inch-thick, fresh-baked, hand-braided brioche dunked in cinnamon-spice custard. Once you've heated the French toast in the oven, you then top it with peanut butter-coconut-maple syrup, vanilla bean whipped cream, and oven-toasted coconut chips. It can be yours for $69.95 - $169.95 (depending on the serving size).
"It's time everyone! We couldn't be more excited to announce that we’ve teamed up with Goldbelly! That’s right!…The world-famous rock toast you all have been craving is now available [for] nationwide shipping!" said Chef Rocky, owner of Brique French Toastery, in a statement. "From selling Brique’s out on our front porch to now getting them shipped to your doorstep is a vision turned reality! We can’t wait for you all to finally get a taste of the ultimate french toast experience!”
Sorry folks, there's no tequila involved in this version.
