- Alex, do you wanna try it? - [Alex] I'm lactose intolerant. - Oh, cool. (laughing) What's up? My name is Kenneth Joseph, we are here today at Taco Bell, and we're gonna see what we can get for $100. Let's make it happen. Hello, how are you doing today? Can I order your Beefy Fritos Burrito, your Crunchy Taco, your Locos Taco, (overlapping voice) That's a long list of things. There you go. - [Cashier] Thank you so much. - Thank you. (ka-ching) We just ordered 29 items. Round One, let's go. Oh! (intense music) So we're going to start with the Double Ranch Stacked Taco. The thing that I love about Taco Bell so much, is that their tacos are actually cheap. Who wants to spend $6 on a taco? Take a bite. So the great thing about the Double Stacked Taco, is that, not only do you get a soft shell, but there's also a hard shell, too. And then they add these little red strips, and it gives the taco that extra crunch. Next up we're eating the Beefy Fritos Burrito. Let's dig in. This is kind of like the crunchy taco, with the soft shell, except that it has Fritos inside of it. Really good, a nice quick bite to eat, and it's all for a dollar, so you can't beat that. When I was a kid, I used to go to Taco Bell all the time, and my grandma, she had this huge jar of quarters, and she said, whatever we could pull out, is what we could keep. So me and my brothers, we would dig our hands into a quarter jar, and whatever we got, we would go straight to Taco Bell, and use off all our money to buy tacos. So next up we have the Shredded Chicken Quesadilla. What I like about this one, is that, you don't need to add any sauces to it. Sometimes, the other two can be a little dry. So that shredded cheese, sort of brings more flavor to it. We have the Cheesy Roll-Up. I feel like this is something that you would give, your child, or a little baby, who doesn't want to eat anything too big. Cheese and bread: can't go wrong. Last but not least, we have the Cinnamon Twists. Look at that, oh! So light and airy. (crunching) If you want a dessert, but nothing too heavy, this is probably the perfect thing to get. And that cinnamon adds a nice little sweetness to it. If I had to choose between these 5 different things, the thing that I would choose, is the Double Stacked Taco, (dinging) because of the added crunchy-ness with the red strips. And that combination of the soft shell taco, with the hard. This is the best thing to get. Round Two, here we go. (intense music) Oh! So we're going to start off with, the classic Taco Bell Taco. I'm going to add some diablo hot sauce onto this. We didn't know this, but Taco Bell is the local hangout, for the high school kids. I guess it makes sense, where else are you going to go, in New York City, after class? (crunching) Regular, classic taco, nice hard shell, with the lettuce and ground beef on the inside. You can't go wrong with this. It's the perfect thing to eat, during your lunch break, or after a party. Next up, we have the Chalupa. I never had this before. This taco shell is actually fried, and that's why you get that nice, bubbly crunchiness on the outside of it. It's a little bit more doughy than like a soft shell. If you don't want something hard and crunchy, this is probably the perfect thing. It tastes just like your classic taco, just a different shell. Next up we have the Doritos Taco, and this is my favorite taco they ever made. You can't name a more dynamic duo, than Doritos and Taco Bell. (crunching) The reason why I love the Doritos Taco is one, I love Doritos chips, but then also, you get that nice little, that residue that comes off the Doritos chip, so after you're done eating it you just, (kissing fingers) Lick your fingers. I know Taco Bell's famous for their Tacos, but surprisingly they also make fries, too. They're good. They're fries. If you want some fries and you're at Taco Bell. So, this is a new item, the Buffalo Chicken Nacho Fries. It has shredded chicken, pico de gallo, french fries, and buffalo sauce. The buffalo sauce and the melted cheese, adds a nice balance together, so the buffalo adds a spice, the cheese sort of mellows it out, along with the ranch. I'm not a big fan of a bunch of gooey cheese on my sandwich, but if you love nachos and you love fries, this is the perfect thing for you. So if I had to choose out of these 5 different things, my worth it winner would be the Doritos Taco. For only $2.25, you get a nice hard taco, a Doritos chip, (dinging) it's the perfect combination. Round Three (intense music) I'm going to start off with the Steak Quesadilla. A great portion of cheese, steak, and bread, nice and thin. Next up, we have the Chicken Quesadilla. Nice and gooey. This is a flour tortilla. It's nice and grilled so it adds a little oomph to it, I don't know what oomph means but, it has that oomph to it. It's a quesadilla and a burrito, and they called it Quesarito. And this has a bunch of layers of cheese, and tortilla, as well as ground beef and rice. (clicks tongue) Not my favorite thing but I think, again if you really love a lot of cheese, this is the perfect thing for your burrito. We have the Nacho Bellgrande. Alex seems to really like it, he remembers the commercial ad so, it must be good. Alex do you want to try it? - [Alex] I'm lactose intolerant. - Oh, cool. (laughs) Your average nacho cheese, with chips. If it's a late night, and you're coming from a party, this is probably the perfect thing, to eat with a bunch of friends. You could all share it. And if you're balling on a budget, the thing I would choose is the Steak Quesadilla. (dinging) For only $4.49, you could get: 4 pieces, of steak, cheese, and bread. And all in one. This is the good stuff, man. Round Four. (intense music) The first thing I'm going to try, is the Mexican Pizza. There is two layers of tortilla that is fried, and in between that, you have black bean, and on top you have your nacho tomato sauce, with cheese and a bunch of little sliced tomatoes. The best way to describe this is like, a burrito but just inside out. Everything that would be inside of a burrito, is now on the outside. It looks like a pizza, but it doesn't actually taste like a pizza. Their new vegetarian option, the Black Bean Crunch, for all you people that don't want to eat meat. (laughs) I'm not a vegetarian, so I probably would never order this, but if your friends go out, and you're getting tacos, and you want something to eat too, this is probably the perfect thing for you. You've got your lettuce, tomatoes, and black beans. But I like having meat in my sandwiches, in my food, so. Yeah. Now this one has beef in it. You can see that layer of beef right there. And here we go. It tastes just like a quesadilla, or a taco. It just looks like a hexagon. You get your beef, your cheese, your lettuce, tomatoes, in the form of a hexagon. It has nacho cheese, re-fried beans, and a bunch of other things, that my beautiful editors will add right here. (ding) So here we go. If you're very hungry, and you want something to pack a punch, and fill you up, this is probably the perfect thing for you. Those re-friend beans add a lot of flavor, texture, it just fills you up. If you've got $3, this is the perfect thing for you. For $2.89, you could fill your stomach up, to your heart's desire. The last one we have, the Cheesy Gordita Crunch. You got a nice, soft taco shell on the out, and a hard one on the inside. The difference between this, and the Double Stacked Taco is that, they have pita bread on the outside, rather than a soft tortilla shell. The perfect balance of softness and crunchiness. For round four if I have to choose, out of these 5 different things I would go with, the Gordita Crunch. (dinging) Because, one, again, I love tacos, and it has that perfect combination, and for only $3.59, you can't beat that. (upbeat music) Oh! Wow! I feel like the obvious thing to start with, is this Nacho Party Pack that is only $10. The perfect thing for a group of friends, after a party, or before a party, or if you're just really hungry. You got pico de gallo, you got beans, you got beef, you got jalapeno, nacho cheese, and guacamole. It's a steal, man. This is a steal. After this episode, I'm going straight to Planet Fitness, and running all of this off, cause this is... a lot of calories, a lot of calories. My stomach is fully grown. Usually have to unbutton a button, when we're doing these episodes 'cause, the kid get bloated. Next up, we got the 7-Layer Burrito. No meat, straight up vegetarian. So you got your cheese, your rice and your beans. You can't be mad, if you're a vegetarian in a fast food restaurant. So this is a very juicy burrito, as you can tell. The reason why this one is a little bit more juicier, than the other ones, is because, the beans aren't re-fried, I believe that's the term for it, (dinging) and this is a classic burrito, Alex loves it. So Alex approves, we all approve. All right? If I had to choose out of these four things, from round 5, I would clearly go with, the Nacho Party Pack, (dinging) for $10 you can't beat it, and you get all of this. You could eat it with a group of friends, you could eat it with your squad, you could it it by yourself, movie night, you could take this into the movie theaters with you, there's just so many things you could do with this. It's a party. (intense music) (sings) First up, Berry Freeze. So Berry Freeze tastes like, a strawberry bubble gum, as a slushy. Fun fact: (ding) You could add alcohol to all these drinks if you want to, and this Taco Bell, closes at 5am, and they re-open at 7am. After a late night party in the city, you could pull up here, get you a drink, throw some tequila in this, and get turnt. Next up we have the Baja Blast. Nice, smooth, refreshing. It has like a Mountain Dew, Sprite taste to it. It's pretty good, I like it. And then last, but not least, this one is like a Mountain Dew. Has like a little sourness to it. We have the Cinnamon Delights, which is fry bread, and it has this beautiful filling on the inside. So the Cinnamon Delight tastes just like a churro, except that there's just, this beautiful cream cheese filling on the inside. So, if you want a nice little snack, a nice little dessert, this the perfect thing for you. So out of everything we tried today, my favorite things was the: Double Stacked Taco, (ding) which is only $1, the Doritos Taco, (ding) which is only $2.30, and I really loved, the Nacho Party Pack, (ding) 'cause of how big it is, and affordable, which is only $10, and, this Baja Blast, (ding) which is only $3.30, so.
