In March 2020, Wendy's finally answered our prayers by launching breakfast nationwide. We got to try out their AM offerings ahead of the launch and can confirm they know what they're doing when it comes to breakfast, so it's no surprise the brand is taking it even further by creating a cereal. A Frosty-flavored cereal, if you can believe it.
Taking inspiration from the best-selling ice cream drink at Wendy's, the cereal will include cocoa-coated multigrain cereal pieces and chocolate-flavored marshmallow pieces, working together to create the Frosty taste you already know and love.
The cereal will be made in collaboration with Kellogg's, and is set to hit stores in December, so we can hopefully enjoy a morning of Frosty cereal before all of our holiday occasions. Call me crazy, but I'd say this cereal would make an amazing base for a Rice Krispies-style marshmallow treat. Maybe it should be added to your holiday baking list?
Boxes of the cereal will be available in 8.3-ounce ($3.99) and 13.2-ounce ($5.69) sizes, so you can choose what quantity is best for your household. To be safe, it's always a good idea to go for the bigger box, especially for a new product a lot of people will be excited for, and we have a feeling Wendy's fans will be.
