At any given moment, all eyes are on the President of the United States, but we seldom get an inside look at what goes on inside the White House. Of course, at Delish, we love learning about Presidential Eats, and a recent in-depth report about the Biden White House by The New York Times answered some of our most specific questions about the president's eating habits.

It's known that President Biden loves ice cream. In fact, ahead of his inauguration Jeni's came out with a flavor inspired by him that featured a chocolate chip ice cream and pieces of waffle cone. According to the NYT profile, the flavor was right in line with the president's favorite, as his kitchen is always stocked with vanilla chocolate chip Häagen-Dazs ice cream.

When President Joe Biden was living at the vice president's residence during the Obama Administration, his kitchen staff was directed to keep Special K cereal, red grapes, sliced cheese, six eggs, sliced bread, one tomato from the garden, and at least two apples on hand at all times. Apparently, Joe also prefers Orange Gatorade as his drink of choice.

He comes home by 7 p.m. to eat dinner with First Lady Jill and loves pasta with red sauce even though Dr. Biden prefers grilled chicken or fish. The only special request the president has when it comes to food is to skip out on serving leafy greens during events so he doesn't risk having something in his teeth. Fair enough.
