To celebrate the warm weather and the upcoming summer, McDonald's is adding a new slushie to its menu at participating locations that tastes like strawberries and watermelons.
McDonald's fan-favorite Blue Raspberry and Pink Lemonade slushies are returning again this year and the new Strawberry Watermelon is joining the lineup. Each slushie is made with real Minute Maid fruit juice and crushed ice to achieve the cold and refreshing beverage that can be enjoyed alongside any of McDonald's beloved menu items.
If you're looking for even more of a reason to try out the new slushie, McDonald's is offering a deal along with its release. Not to sound like a completely broken record, but if you do one productive thing today make it signing up for your favorite fast-food chain rewards programs and apps. That's where all of the best food deals come out first so you can get freebies and discounts whenever you hit up the drive-thru.
Note that McDonald's dining rooms are still closed to the public for safety reasons, but you can still get all of your McNuggets, French fries, and slushies via carry-out, drive-thru, or delivery. This news comes right after the chain announced the all-new caramel brownie McFlurry, so go ahead and consider this the answer to "what's for dinner tonight?"
