We’ve all been there. You’re watching a TV show—maybe it’s fictional, maybe it’s reality—and you see a meal that looks so good you need to know more about it so you can try it yourself. Chrissy Teigen recently shared one of these moments and took to Twitter to see if anyone knew what a couple ate for dinner on the reality show 90 Day Fiancé.
“I need to know what it is they’re having for dinner that was made on the barbecue,” Teigen shared in a video on Twitter: “Is it a biscuit? Is there meat in it? Someone tell me what it is. Someone!”
A few days prior to this, 90 Day Fiance’s Twitter account shared that “Mike grilled crab cakes for his and Natalie’s last dinner before the wedding day. #90DayFiance.” The account also responded to Teigen's inquiry, confirming again the food is crab cakes. "Clearly, Mike wasn't following the official @cravings recipe," it wrote.
Chrissy, among others, refuses to believe they’re crab cakes. She joked that it’s a cover-up, and the food in question can’t be crab cakes, because it looks very crumbly. She finally joked that the food was a “blueberry scone covered in potato skin.”
Honestly, I feel like we need Mike and Natalie to weigh in here to set the record straight. Or we need someone to try a bunch of different grilled crab cake recipes to confirm. Or, all we can take away from this is that Mike doesn't make your average crab cakes. Oh well!
