Update, March 25, 2021: The moment has come y'all. Jeni's Splendid Ice Cream finally announced the flavor of its Dolly Parton ice cream and it's even better than we could have ever imagined. The new Strawberry Pretzel Pie is an ode to the Queen of Country and is salty, sweet, and delicious.
The ice cream will feature layers of salty pretzel streusel, sweet yet tangy cream cheese ice cream, and lipstick red strawberry sauce. Every purchase of the ice cream will benefit Dolly Parton's Imagination Library, a book gifting program that provides free books to kids until the age of five.
As for how to get your hands on the flavor, it will be available on April 8 at scoop shops when they open and online at noon EST. There is a limit of two pints per purchase in-store and online, so keep that in mind before ordering. Ice cream...I Will Always Love You.

Though you may still be reeling from excitement over Serendipity's newest coffee flavored Friends-inspired offering, Jeni's Splendid Ice Cream just delivered some news to give the aforementioned flavor a run for its money.
After teasing fans on their Instagram account this past weekend, the beloved brand fully unveiled an illustration of their latest collaborator: THEE Dolly Parton. That's right, y'all. The Queen of Country herself will be rolling out a new flavor with Jeni's and the Southern gal in me just cannot wait.
Captioning the teasers with "Jeni’s × @dollyparton. Benefitting Dolly’s @imaginationlibrary," it was the last photo posted Monday, March 15 that revealed what one can only assume to be the flavor's name—"Specially made for Dolly Parton." And for those of you that aren't familiar, Dolly Parton's Imagination Library is a book gifting program that supplies free books to kids up until the age of five. Do we stan an icon? Yes, yes we do.
Though there's not much information available about its release date or what it will even taste like, if you're just happy to hear that Ms. Parton will have her own sure to be delicious offering, then you can sign up at jenis.com/dolly to be notified of all the specifics when they become available.
