Everyone has their personal deal breakers when they go on a first date, but for those who LOVE peanut butter, it seems that their food preferences are especially important when finding a partner. A survey conducted by OnePoll on behalf of Jif ahead of National Peanut Butter Day found that the differences between those who love creamy peanut butter versus crunchy peanut butter are vast.

The survey questioned 2,000 individuals, a group that was split down the middle by crunchy or creamy peanut butter preference. OnePoll then asked a series of questions and determined potential links between personality traits and past experiences and one's favorite PB texture.

OnePoll found that one-third of people described themselves as being "passionate" about their peanut butter preference. That passion is so apparent that according to the poll, nearly half of the responders said that their date being on the opposing side of the crunchy or creamy peanut butter debate would be a deal-breaker for the relationship, SWNS Digital reported.

Not only that, but if the peanut butter that was not their preferred texture was in front of them, 63 percent of responders said they wouldn't even eat it. Other conclusions suggested that people who like creamy peanut butter best were also more likely to be introverts and early risers while crunchy lovers were extroverted and night owls.

There's one thing all peanut butter lovers can agree on despite what side of the aisle they're on, though...grape jelly over strawberry jelly in a PB&J. No debate there.
