It’s always a treat when Dove Chocolate releases a specialty flavor in honor of a season or holiday. For Easter 2019, we got the White Chocolate Carrot Cake chocolates. Now, there is a new White Chocolate & Lemon Meringue flavor that is just as worthy of filling up your Easter basket.
Whenever you hear about lemon meringue, it’s usually in reference to the dessert pie, which is made of a pastry base, lemon curd, and meringue (consisting of egg whites and sugar). It’ll be interesting to see how Dove has managed to combine the white chocolate flavor and lemon meringue. If it’s everything we hope it’ll be, it’ll have a refreshing burst of springtime flavor.
“A favorite springtime dessert gets a silky smooth twist with DOVE PROMISES White Chocolate & Lemon Meringue. Wrapped in light and lemony foils, these bright delights bring a slice of spring to every candy dish,” the description says on the back of the bag.
The 6.3-ounce bag holds about 24 chocolates and can be found at a range of stores, including Walmart and Target. Who says it’s too early to scope out the Easter candy aisle?
